چکیده
Abstract This work focuses on developing the mathematical model of surface roughness (Ra) in turning Inconel 625 superalloy with cryogenically treated tungsten carbide inserts. The influence cryogenic microstructure and hardness tools was also investigated for as-received inserts deep treatment at − 196 °C 12, 24, 36 h conditions. Turning experiments have been performed according to an orthogonal array L16 three parameters (cutting tool, feed rate, cutting speed) different levels a 1 mm depth cut. ideal tool were evaluated terms (Ra). Analysis Variance has applied determine percentage each factor. It observed that speed maximum 66.28% contribution Ra. best optimal are obtained as A3B3C1 S/N ration. Ra developed by regression analysis. is tested verification found be good agreement experimental results.
